Family

Just had some cousins in town last weekend. It was a blast. It was also a great time to reconnect. There's something comforting about having family around that I just love. These are people who are important in my life no matter what, and I feel welcome around them no matter what.

It also gave me a chance to see my city through their eyes and fall in love with it again. It's easy to get bored with something you've known all your life. They say it's good to live other places, but how could I possibly leave a place this great? I'm all for travelling, but move? No way.

Now that they're gone, I have to get caught up on schoolwork again. I've recently come to an important and useful realization: college is hard. So much in life that is worth while requires effort. I just hope I have enough in me to do everything right.
